Rottweiler Puppies

If you are lucky enough to get your rottweiler as a puppy, then you will be able to give him/her a more thorough training (eating/sleeping/bathroom stuff). If they are not taught when they are young, then it will be harder because of the bad habits that they can form with time. Rottweilers can become headstrong and destructive (biting and chewing furniture) if you don’t teach them the right way to behave.

Keeping Your Dog Safe
Puppies can get injured physically and emotionally. Im going to give you some tips on some steps you need to take in order to keep them in their best condition. You will need to take extra precautions when they are around large aggressive dogs and I suggest you don’t take them to any dog parks. There can be some other large and aggressive dogs at dog parks which are not fully trained and get into fights with the smaller dogs often.

Enjoy Your Puppy
Puppies are fun and good to play with. Enjoy them being small while you can because grown rottweilers are hard to handle and can overpower you very easily. When taking them for a walk take time to play fetch with them and other dog games. Rottweiler puppies take fun with different games but they can also get bored after a while so take short breaks with them.

Importance of Training
The proverb says “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”, and it does hold true in some form. It is much harder to teach an old dog a new trick while relatively easy to teach a puppy something new. However, it still takes work and with the help of the guides you should be pointed in the right direction.

If you have rottweiler puppies, then you can click on one of the guides below to help you determine the best way to treat your dog. Otherwise, if your dog two years or older, click on the training guide under the category heading to get some more information.
